How to Install Bathroom Vanity Lights

Adequate bathroom lighting is indispensable for activities like shaving, applying makeup, or moving in and out of the shower. Well-distributed light prevents hurt and provides a secure environment. However, when you get a bathroom light, how to install it becomes a problem. Read this manual and install it step by step.

Tools required before installation
When you buy Quntis bathroom light you will have:

• screw*3
• Wire nuts cap*3
• Acrylic column*3
• Metal cover*3
• Glass lampshade*3

What you need to prepare:

• Step stool
• Non-contact voltage tester (optional)

There are five steps in total, you can follow these to install Quntis bathroom light fixture

Step one -- cut off the power

Safety comes first. Find your main electrical panel then shut off all the individual circuits starting from bottom to top. Turn off the main switch.

Verify the power is off by placing the voltmeter on the two output points at the bottom of the circuit breaker. The voltmeter will show there is no voltage if the light does not light up.

Step two -- fix the mounting plate

Unscrew the screw nut and remove the mounting plate from the fixture base. Attach the mounting plate to the wall. Then use drill to insert three screws.

Step three -- connect all the wires

There are three kind of wires coming out of the wall: ground wire, hot wire and neutral wire. You need to connect the ends of the same type of wires together. Finally, you can plug the twisted wire back into the wall. One tip for you to identify wire types: ground wire is usually green, hot wire is typically black and neutral wire is always white.

Step four -- install the light fixture

Install the vanity light fixture onto the mounting plate with screw caps.

Step five -- assemble the bathroom light

Place the metal cover against the part one (shown in the figure). Then use left hand to fix the glass lampshade to metal cover. Finally use right hand to twist the acrylic column carefully.
