Perfect gift
Bigger than I thought! Nice speaker! Pretty easy control buttons! I love it I wish you could toggle off the top rotating light and I wish it had a remote but other than that my girls love it!
If you are not a morning person, like I am, this will change how you wake up. I am done with the buzzer alarm clocks that just make you angry with the sound they make. Waking up to a gentle sunrise and white noise is the only way to go. This clock offers any color choices you want and a ton of sound samples. Waking up has never been so good. Highly recommended.
The Quntis clock feature a 7″ ring equipped with an array of LEDs capable of producing a variety of lights and effects. The stock video on the page shows some of them, although it is short and limited.
Then, there is of course clock and alarm. The clock is small and I can’t see the time from across the room, but it is fine at night when it stands next to the bed.
For adult person the plethora of colors and effects to choose from can be amusing for a while, but sensation quickly fades away. I still like turning it on at night when I go to bed. I think it may be interesting for kids, who can entertain themselves with a variety of running colors.
The remote control is good and there is also an app, so you can control this gadget from your phone. The app is not particularly great, but it works and it took me just few minutes to figure out how to use it. I didn’t go into every detail, though.
The Bluetooth connectivity is OK, I did play music from my phone. When I left and came back later the clock reconnected automatically.
The only thing that I found disappointing was the speaker, it is quite poor. These days even kids demand quality gadgets and speakers that can produce a range of frequencies. Of course, there is little room inside, and I didn’t expect the quality of a proverbial boombox, but with the $40 price tag I would want to have something better.
Still, a nice toy to have if you are into this sort of things.
