I installed these today along my covered porch for some ambient lighting. Install was quite easy with the included brackets and double sided "tape". The "tape", by the way, is multiple small clear squares that are quite sticky once the backing is removed. When I tested the lights, they came on momentarily and shut off over and over. Later, I realized this was simply because it was too light outside still. Once it was sufficiently dark, they came on automatically. They are not quite as bright on the highest setting as I expected, but they will work just fine for my purposes.
I like lights in my back yard. I bought this led strip lights for my little grill gazebo thingy. So far, I LOVE them. End of season, just snip the zip ties n easy peasy take down. In past, I would wrap led on wire around it. WHAT a pain in the butt! Pleased all around with these.
Bright and easy to install, when installed it looks good. I would recommend.
This solar rope is so awesome! Okay, it's an LED Rope... but it's also powered by the sun, so I'm just gonna keep calling it the Solar Rope! None the less, it's got so much power, and it's got so much brightness, absolutely a lot of fun that can be used almost anywhere! I always encourage testing it out before you go mounting it anywhere. Definitely don't want to put yourself in a precarious situation where the charger element doesn't get enough sunlight or whatever!
Some solar lights are disappointing because they are dull. But these lights are bright! They last many hours. The only thing I found disappointing was that they weren't long enough to really do much except light a portion of our porch. Maybe half of a doorway. A bit pricey for such a short amount.
