I placed these lights on my front porch steps, alternating steps and sides, to hopefully light the entire walking space and identify the edges. Content of note: my porch and steps are brick and concrete, so I did not install them with screws, only sat them in place, under the railings. They work very well! My steps are roughly 5 feet wide, and these lights are small but definitely bright enough to light the full width of each step. They get almost a full day of sun exposure, and the lights last throughout the night. They look really nice, as well.
These lights work perfectly and look great. Would be better if a little brighter but would buy again.
It has been roughly 2 months since these have been installed on our front and side porch. They have seen days over 95 degrees and severe thunderstorms and they haven't skipped a beat. They come on right at dusk and stay on until the morning, no thought needed! They illuminate the steps just enough to see them in the dark and they very clean and subtle touch touch to the nighttime curb appeal!
These little lights are pretty great. They've got fairly strong adhesive strips that seem to be holding up OK on the brick steps that they're attached to. Installation was very easy, just peel the strips and slap them in place. The solar panels give them plenty of juice and the lights stay on until after I'm in bed and asleep.
They put out enough light for the safety on the deck steps.
